Chisago Lakes Chamber hires director
Brenda Palmquist has accepted the position of executive director for the Chisago Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce. She is replacing Darlene Shafer, who resigned to pursue a career with Meadows on Fairview in Wyoming.İPalmquist has an extensive background in information technology, marketing, product management and business development, with more than 30 years as a telecommunications professional. She attended the University of Nebraska in Omaha and Regis University in Denver, CO, majoring in marketing and business administration.İPalmquist grew up in rural Nebraska, in a town of about 1300 people. She and her husband Gary moved to Lindstrom nearly two years ago from Littleton, CO.
