A Forest Lake High School sophomore has been crowned 2005 Miss Teen Minnesota.Lauren Hindi, 16, received the honor during the closing ceremonies of the Miss Teen Minnesota Pageant on Sunday, Nov. 28 at the St. Paul Radisson.
She is the daughter of Sheryl and Bruce Hindi of Linwood Township. She entered the state pageant as the Miss Stacy Teen and was one of 77 contestants from across the state vying for the honor.
Last weekendís two-day competition in St. Paul is a preliminary contest to the Miss Teen USA event.
Hindi will now represent Minnesota at the Miss Teen USA Pageant in Palm Springs, CA, next August.
Hindiís coach is Faith Schway of Mendota Heights, owner of Premiere Modeling in Minneapolis.
