Winter Carnival Ice Palace draws thousands

The final two days of the St. Paul Winter Carnival proved to be fan favorities as thousands of visitors packed the city's downtown to take in the colorful palace located adjacent to the Xcel Energy Center arena. Events tied to the National Hockey League All-Star game also contributed to the huge crowds. Saturday was the last day for public visits to the ice palace. (Photo By Cliff Buchan)
