Model railroad show at Northland Mall Jan. 24-25

Fans of model railroads will want to be in Forest Lake on Jan. 24-25. Northland Mall will host the first Great River Valley System Model Railroad Show on that Saturday and Sunday. Model railroad buffs from eight train clubs in Minnesota and Wisconsin will be at Northland Mall for the show.

There is no admission. Show hours are 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 24 and 11 to 5 on Sunday, Jan. 25. The clubs will have eight major train layouts featuring some 30 to 40 exhibitors.
