New police chief on duty in FL

Forest Lake's new chief of police and director of public safety is now on duty. Clark Quiring spent his first day on the job in Forest Lake on Tuesday, Jan. 13. Quiring was hired late in 2003 to replace David Schwartz who retired after 34 years on the police force. Quiring comes to Forest Lake from Sioux Falls, SD, where he held top leadership positions within the police department. Quiring, right, and Sgt. Ron Hanegraaf look over reports here this week.
