Military support group meets July 27

A military support group of spouses, parents, family and friends continues to meet in Forest Lake in support of troops serving in active duty. The next meeting of the Forest Lake and Surrounding Area Family Military Support Group will take place 7 p.m., Tuesday, July 27 at American Legion Post 225, 355 W. Broadway Ave. The group meets at the Legion the last Tuesday of every month. All area residents with family serving in the military are welcome to attend. The group is planning another shipment of care packages to local troops serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. For more information, call Dwight at the American Legion, 651-464-2600.
