Arena repairs nearly finished
Photo by Joe Drennn Thirty yards of cement were poured at the Maroon and Gold Arena Friday morning to complete repairs to the rink that began May 10. The repairs saw the sprinkler system repaired, new furnaces installed, Zelda the Zamboni saw preventative maintenance and the refrigeration system was repaired. Gresser Cement, the same company that poured the floor 20 years ago, poured the cement Friday. Left, Arena manager Darrell Nelson, Bryon Crandall of Air Climate Control and Tim Waltz inspect the newly poured floor. Below the work crew from Gresser Cement work quickly to finish the floor.
