ISD 831 population is 43,148

Another year of population growth has been recorded in ISD 831. At the Monday, June 7 meeting, the school board adopted a resolution certifying the June 1, 2004 school district population at 43,148. The new figure is an increase of 1660 residents over the June 1, 2003 official population total of 41,488. The new figure is certified to the Minnesota State Demographer for use in future revenue calculations for Community Education funding.
