Fly-fishing workshop

William OíBrien State Park will host a fly-fishing workshop Saturday, June 12 with a morning class from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Interpretive Center and an afternoon class from 1 p.m.-3 p.m. at the Lake Alice Fishing Pier.

Morning classes consist of fundamentals, equipment and fly tying. Afternoon classes consist of casting demonstrations with hand-on instruction. There is no pre-registration and classes are free. A state park vehicle permit is required for entry into any state park though.
