Fishing the St. Croix

Forest Lake Community Education is offering a course in ìFishing on the St. Croixî on Tuesday and Thursday, June 22 and 24 from 7-9 p.m. The class will be held at the Forest Lake Area High School, Room 121, 6101 Scandia Trail N, Forest Lake, MN 55025.

The St. Croix River offers some of the most varied and exciting fishing in Minnesota. Participants will see the best lures and fishing techniques for several species as well as ìhot spotsî on the river. A Saturday morning field session will be held Saturday, June 26 from 8:30 am ñ 12:30 pm. Participants should bring spinning equipment for the field session, along with $6 for boat rental or launching fee.

The cost is $45, with Dr. Charles Huver instructing. Call 651-982-8110 to register.
