Wyoming will host Skywarn class

Wyoming will host a Skywarn Class 2004 presented by the National Weather Service at 7 p.m., Thursday, March 11. The class will take place at the Wyoming Community Center, 26885 Forest Blvd. and is sponsored by the Wyoming Township Emergency Management Committee. The class is designed for general weather buffs or any member of local police and fire departments. The 2‡-hour course will feature presentations of types of cloud formations, how to identify severe weather and how to interpret radar pictures. The National Weather Service will be enrolling official severe weather spotters at the March 11 class. The class is free. To reserve a spot for the class, call 651-462-4947.
