Chisago County awards library bids
The Chisago County Board has approved the letting of bids on the three community library building projects slated for Wyoming, Lindstrom and North Branch. A 10,000-square-foot library is planned in Wyoming. The facility will become part of the East Central Minnesota Regional Library System. ěThese new community library buildings will move Chisago County into the 21st century with three new modern community libraries,î County Commissioner Ben Montzka said. Montzka, who represents the Wyoming area, said he was pleased to see that Commissioners Bob Gustafson, Lora Walker and Rick Olseen joined him in supporting the action. County Board Chair Mike Robinson was opposed in the 4-1 vote on May 5.
