More Spanish school meetings set

Lakes International Language Academy, a public Spanish-immersion charter school opening this fall in Forest Lake, is accepting applications for remaining seats. Students entering 1st and 2nd grade are especially encouraged to submit applications now. All Minnesota elementary students may apply, including students residing outside the Forest Lake Area School District. The school charges no tuition. Parent information sessions are set Monday, May 10; Tuesday, May 18; and Monday May 24, at 7 p.m. at the former District Memorial Hospital, 246 SE 11th Ave. in Forest Lake.
