Citizen review panel forming

Chisago County is now seeking applications from county residents interested in serving on a new Chisago County Citizens Review Panel. The panel is part of a pilot project through the Minnesota Department of Human Services in which it reviews child protection cases and evaluates them using well-being outcome measurements. Chisago County residents interested in serving on the panel may call the Chisago County Health and Human Services Department at 651-213-0199 for more information. Panel members will need to sign confidentiality agreements. At least six members are being sought. Mileage and certain daycare expenses are reimbursed by the state.
