Saturday program will mark 40th year for Birchwood Health Care

Saturday will be a big day for the residents and staff at Birchwood Health Care Center in Forest Lake. The Forest Lake nursing home, 604 NE 1st St., will mark its 40th anniversary with an open house from 2-4 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 13. A rededication ceremony will take place at 3 p.m. in Birchwoodís chapel

The public is welcome and encouraged to attend, said Scot Allen, Birchwood administrator. The day will include refreshments and desserts, plus special entertainment. Former Minnesota North Stars hockey player Bill Butters will be on hand to sign autographs.
