Walker out, 2 Chisago incumbents win
Two incumbent Chisago County commissioners won reelection on Tuesday, Nov. 2, but a third was defeated in a close race. District 1 incumbent Lora Walker lost to challenger Lynn Ann Schultz by a 52 percent to 48 percent margin, 3045 votes to 2863. Walker was running for reelection after serving a two-year term on the county. Incumbents Mike Robinson and Bob Gustafson were reelected. Gustafson, the District 3 commissioner, defeated Curt Flug, 3175 to 2070. Gustafson received 61 percent of the vote. Robinson, who represents the Rush City area and District 5, had little trouble with challenger Bob Carter, winning the election with 71 percent of the vote. 2692 to 1083.
