Chisago County receives Byrne Grant

Chisago County has been named a recipient of a Byrne Memorial Grant in the amount of $99,859.90. The announcement was made this week by Chisago County District Court Judge Robert Rancourt. The purpose of the grant is to support judicial leadership, multidisciplinary collaboration and local initiatives to address issues of substance abuse in the Chisago County Juvenile Substance Abuse Court. The countyís juvenile substance abuse court is slated to commence this November and will be the first drug court established in the Tenth Judicial District.
