With ìBurger World,î Southwest continues a seven year tradition of presenting original comedies that are appropriate for all ages.
This yearís show features the talents of 22 students. ìBurger Worldî is set in the small town of Eyota, MN in the fall of 1977.
Mr. Mooney, the owner of a small cafe is trying to improve business by developing a substance he calls Mad Mustard.
Principal Beatrix at Eyota High has her hands full with the problems being caused by a new fangled facsimile machine sending her odd messages, a troublemaking teenager named Chuck Rogers, mysterious foreign exchange students and a series of unnaturally natural disasters that keep occurring in the school.
Chuck Rogers is really just trying to do what all teenagers are trying to doÖget through high school and maybe, have a little fun. He never really tries to blow anything up.
Chuck is unwittingly assisted in his misadventures by a spacey science teacher, Mr. Bodledock, a sympathetic secretary, Miss Daley, and his new best friend, Carrie Rhodes.
To add to the fun, two very ìforeignî exchange students show up from Abaslovakia or are they from somewhere else?
Mix in a cheerleader, the quarterback and a faculty that all dress alike and the plot is really out of this world.
