County will auction land Dec. 3

Seven parcels of tax-forfeited land, including three parcels in Forest Lake, will be sold at public auction, 1 p.m., Friday, Dec. 3 in the board room at the County Government Center in Stillwater. In October, the county board took action to approve the appraised value of the seven parcels and authorized the sale of the parcels at public auction. The three parcels in Forest Lake are .33 acres, 5.07 acres, and .45 acres in size. The four remaining parcels include two in Oakdale, one in Grant and one in Woodbury. The seven parcels were forfeited to the state for non-payment of taxes. The parcels are classified as non-conservation. Parcels will be sold to the highest bidder but not for less than the basic sale price set by the county.
