Paige Patchin represented the Forest Lake High School girls tennis team at the individual state tournament this past week.
Patchin started the tournament with a 6-1, 6-2 loss to Kimmy Sajavic of Woodbury. The loss put Patchin in the consolation bracket.

In her first match of the consolation bracket, Patchin defeated Amy Steffes of St. Cloud 6-4, 6-0 to advance to the consolation semifinals. Patchin's next opponent was number three ranked Tooli Wilkins of Burnsville. Wilkins was too much for Patchin, winning 6-0, 6-0.

"Paige had a wonderful season, she accomplished her goals," Rangers head coach Greg Patchin said. "Once you get to the state tournament, there are no easy matches and losing to Wilkins was expected even though Paige played well."
