Hugo candidate forum Oct. 20
Residents of the city of Hugo and other communities in Washington County will have an opportunity to meet face-to-face with candidates for local, county and state races at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 20 at Hugo City Hall. Candidates running for Hugo city offices, including incumbent Councilmember-at-Large Mike Granger and challenger Mike Fish, have been invited to discuss issues of interest to residents. Incumbent Dennis Hegberg and challenger Marc Hugunin, both candidates for Washington County Commissioner District 1, and District 52A Rep. Rebecca Otto, and her opponent, Matt Dean, will participate. There will be a variety of prepared questions and an opportunity will be provided for candidates to respond to questions from the audience. The evening of debates will take place 7-10 p.m. The debate will be monitored by the League of Women Voters. Refreshments will be served.
