Lindstrom named to credit union board
Jim Lindstrom, an educator and choral director at Forest Lake High School, has been appointed to fill a vacancy on United Educators Credit Union Supervisor Committee. The committee ensures the financial stability and soundness of the credit union through regular auditing of operational and accounting procedures. All committee members are volunteers. Lindstrom is a credit union ambassador and lives in White Bear Lake. His term runs through April 2005. The position will be up for election at that time. Formerly the MEA Credit Union, United Educators was established in 1957 to meet the financial needs of school staff members and their families. Today the credit union has over 13,500 members statewide with over $80 million in assets.
