NHS food drive set on Halloween
Students who are in the National Honor Society at Forest Lake High School will be out on Halloween this year for some fun and a good cause. On Halloween, members of the National Honor Society will be going out and trick-or-canning in communities throughout ISD 831. ěThis is when we go door to door and collect nonperishable items to be donated to the local food shelf,î said NHS member Nicole Duff. The Halloween food drive has been a successful project in past years for the NHS and a good way to collect needed products for local food shelf operations. The food drive will take place Sunday, Oct. 31.
