Chamber will have 3 candidate forums

A series of candidate forums for races in the area will take place in Forest Lake in October under sponsorship of the Forest Lake Area Chamber of Commerce. Tonight (Thursday), in the Forest Lake City Council Chambers, Forest Lake City Council candidates will appear from 6-8 p.m. followed by mayoral candidates from 8:15-9:30 p.m. On Tuesday, Oct. 12, the Wyoming Elementary School Cafeteria will host city of Wyoming candidates for council and mayor from 7-9 p.m. On Wednesday, Oct. 20 in the Forest Lake City Council Chambers, House of Representative candidates in Districts 17B (Chisago County) and 52A (Washington/Anoka Counties) will meet the public from 6:30-8 p.m. followed by District 1 Washington County Commissioner candidates from 8:30-9:30 p.m. The forums will be taped by LATV Channel 10 for broadcast several times before the Nov. 2nd elections.
