Community center is Chamber topic

ìWhat is the Plan and How Will We Pay for It Now That We Did Not Get the Kroc Grant?î That is the topic for the next general membership meeting of the Forest Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 13 at Forest Hills Golf Club. Members of the Forest Lake Regional Community Center Task Force Executive Committee will be on hand to explain plans for the proposed community center and funding options. The task force has identified plans for a $32 million facility and a first phase effort that will cost $22.5 million. The Oct. 13 event costs $12 for Chamber members and $17 non-members. Reservations are requested by noon Friday, Oct. 8. Call 651-464-3200 to reserve a seat at the Oct. 13 luncheon in the Lodge at Forest Hills.
