YPA to perform ëLes Miserablesí on 4 dates in May
A local stage production of ěLes Miserables, School Editionî is now under rehearsal by the Youth Performing Arts group next month in Forest Lake.
Originally adapted from Victor Hugoís timeless novel and under the direction of Susan Swanson Novak, ěLes Miserables, School Editionî introduces a new generation to the grand and inspirational story that has touched the hearts of millions.
Within Les Miserables lies the universal truth ěTo love another person is to see the face of God.î and this message is sure to have a lasting impact on all who witness this latest Youth Performing Arts production.
This author-approved edition has been abridged to a running time of just over two hours and is appropriate for audiences aged 10 years and up.
Performances will take place at Forest Hills United Methodist Church in Forest Lake on May 19, 20, 21 and 22 at 7 p.m. with a special matinee performance on Sunday, May 22 at 2 p.m.
