Auditions for the summer production of ìThe Sound of Musicî by Masquers Theatre will be staged next week in Forest Lake.

The call for auditions will take place on two days, Monday and Tuesday, May 2-3 in the choir room at Southwest Junior High School, 943 SW 9th Ave. Auditions start at 7 p.m. both nights.

Actors interested in auditioning for the ìSound of Musicî are asked to bring something to sing. Candidates should also be prepared to read from the script and learn a small dance routine.

The musical will be on stage at Forest Lake High School July 7-9, July 14-16, July 21-23 and July 28-30.

All show times are 7 p.m. with the exception of the 2 p.m. matinees on July 16 and July 23.
