Ann Miron, of Hugo, was recently selected as one of six Minnesota students that will take part in a trip to China through the ìGovernorís Mission to Chinaî initiative in November. As part of the stateís new Minnesota-China Partnership, Governor Tim Pawlenty will take a 200 member delegation of business, government, academic and civic leaders (including Miron) to China, Nov. 11-19. Students were chosen from a field of 79 applicants and were selected based on four main criteria: scholastic achievement, effective communication, leadership activities and their personal goals for the trip. She is a student at Forest Lake High School.
