Jack A. Merfeld, 83, Shakopee, died Monday, July 18, 2005.
A funeral service was Thursday, July 21, at Cavanaugh-McNearney Funeral Home, Shakopee, with interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his parents Mathias and Blanche; and brothers Burt and Jerry. He is survived by his wife Ruth; children Nancy (Guillermo) DePaz, Burnsville, Jane (Dave) Santos, FL, Jeff, Hopkins; grandchildren Diego, Dario (Bethany), Daniel, David and Maria; sisters Betty Goodlund, Richfield and Cleo VanBrocklin, CA.
