Support is growing for a bicycle trail along Kettle River Blvd. in Chisago County. The Chisago County Board voted unanimously at its Nov. 21 meeting to support the proposed Kettle River Boulevard Bike Trail. ìThis bike trail, when constructed, will be a significant amenity to our community,î said Commissioner Ben Montzka who made the motion to support the bike trail. The trail will connect the residential developments along Kettle River Blvd west of I-35 with the Sunrise Prairie Trail on the east side of I-35 in Wyoming Township and the city of Wyoming. The city council and town board have also granted formal support for the trail plan, Montzka said.
