Pro wrestling is coming to the VFW

Forest Lake is known for its wrestling program, but thatís traditional folk style wrestling we see in the Olympics. Sunday the theatrics of professional wrestling will be in Forest Lake at VFW Post 4210, 556 SW 12th St.
The event is slated to start at 6 p.m. with the doors opening at 5 p.m. and admission $8 at the door. Seven matches are scheduled for Sunday night with the likes of Ann-Thraxx taking on Rain and Malikite vs. Joey Envy just to mention a few.
Former WWE diva and Forest Lake native Molly Holly, A.K.A. Nora Greenwald will be on hand signing autographs and selling copies of her new DVD.
ěWeíve tried wrestling here at the VFW before but it didnít work,î Keith Hegstrom of VFW Post 4210 said. ěThe group from Northern Impact Wrestling told me about an event they did at a VFW in Wisconsin that was so popular they came back the next night so we thought letís try it and see if it works.î
