Man ticketed after business disturbance

A Blaine man was handed a pair of tickets after police were called to a Forest Lake business to resolve a disturbance.
Chief of Police Clark Quiring said officers were called to Gold Dusters Jewelry and Pawnbrokers, 280 SW 15th St. at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 27 after the store said a former employee was causing trouble and a weapon may be involved.
At the scene, police arrested John Kim, 64, of Blaine. He was taken to the city police station.
Quiring said Kim was given tickets for trespassing and disorderly conduct and then released pending future traffic court appearances in Stillwater.

In other reports, Quiring said Halloween was mild in Forest Lake with the most serious crimes involving two reports of paint ball vandalism. He said a car was hit by a paint ball at the intersection of SW 19th St. and Everton Ave. and a home in the 200 block of SW 8th St. was hit with a paint ball during incidents reported to police Monday night.
ïPolice also assisted at several property damage vehicle accidents during the past week.
