Anticipating high attendance for its Monday, Nov. 14 meeting, the Forest Lake City Council has changed the meeting's location from city hall to the cafeteria of the Central Learning Center at 200 SW 4th St. in Forest Lake. At the 7 p.m. meeting, the council will consider a request by Duffy Development, of Minnetonka, for a conditional use permit to construct income-based rental housing units on the former District Memorial Hospital site on SE 11th Avenue. Approximately 80 people attended a previously-held planning commission meeting on the topic.
