Need a good workout but there seems to be a time when fitness centers arenít open?

Thatís no longer a concern under the format of a new fitness center now open in Wyoming. Snap Fitness, 5177 266th St. in the Toddler Town building, opened Nov. 1 and provides members with 24-hour facility use every day of the year.

The new business is a franchise operation owned by Patrick Kiffmeyer of Lino Lakes. He owns a second Snap Fitness health club in Andover.

The new health club is equipped with all new work out equipment, including Cybex circuit strength equipment and a complete cardio center with cardio theater. Free weights are also provided to help round out the workout.

For Kiffmeyer, the beauty of the Snap Fitness concept is the ability to do a workout when your time fits.

Each Snap Fitness member is given a door access card that allows the member to enter the health club at any time of the day or night.

Kiffmeyer says Snap Fitness is fast, convenient and affordable ó three key points that should mean much to anyone serious about getting in shape. The Snap Fitness membership charge is half what many centers charge and members can be assured of utilizing all new equipment in a safe and secure facility located in the heart of the Wyoming business district.

A 24-hour surveillance service is also provided for security.

Another plus for the Wyoming location, Kiffmeyer says, is the in-house 60-channel satellite dish TV system and DVD recording equipment.

Kiffmeyer has two trainers hired to conduct member orientation and help members plan workout programs.

Evy Hayes, a certified personal trainer, is also serving as manager in Wyoming. Nathan Appleby is the second Snap Fitness personal trainer.

Snap Fitness personal trainers and staff will be at the Wyoming facility for extended hours during the initial weeks of operation. For management hours and enrollment information, call 651-462-9073.
