The Washington County Board of Commissioners on Nov. 1 approved an agreement with the Disabled Veterans Rest Camp relating to the future of the area shared by the camp and Washington Countyís Big Marine Park Reserve. The Rest Camp is located in the middle of two segments of county property which comprise Big Marine Park Reserve. Commissioners last week approved a resolution granting the county right of first refusal if a sale of the Rest Camp land is ever contemplated. Commissioners also approved the location of an easement across the Rest Camp access road, allowing the county to connect the two parts of Big Marine Park Reserve with a road and trail.
