Candidates for the ISD 831 School Board will meet to discuss issues on Tuesday, Oct. 11. The candidate forum will take place from 7-9 p.m. in the council chambers at Forest Lake City Hall, 220 N. Lake St. The forum is being sponsored by the Forest Lake Area Chamber of Commerce. Alan Bakke will moderate. Candidates in the election are Eric Michael Langness, Michele J. DeWitt, Dan Kieger, Jody Krebs, David Gay and Julie A. Corcoran. The election is Tuesday, Nov. 8 with the top three vote getters claiming four-year terms on the school board starting Jan. 1, 2006. The forum is free and the public is encouraged to attend, said Debby Feist, Forest Lake Chamber president this week.
