Girls soccer ends scoring slump

After going nine games without scoring a goal the Forest Lake High School girls soccer team put an end to that rend with a goal in each of their three games this week.

The Rangers fell 5-1 to Roseville last Tuesday, but it was their first goal since Aug. 30 when they tied Hastings 1-1.
Last Thursday the Rangers had a rematch with Hastings, but this time around Hastings was able to find their scoring touch and won the game 4-1.

The Rangers also played Stillwater on Saturday and came close to a tie, but lost 2-1. The loss brings the Rangers Suburban East Conference record to 0-11-1 and 3-12-1 overall.

The Rangers next game is today, Thursday, when they host Roseville at 7 p.m.
