The Washington County Board of Commissioners appointed Forest Lake resident Marcia Wielinski to represent commissioners on the board for the Metropolitan Area Agency on Aging. Wielinski, a former Washington County Community Services supervisor, has significant experience in working with the MAAA and the county expressed its appreciation for her willingness to get involved in a volunteer capacity, The MAAA provides support for Twin Cities area elders through community building, advocacy and support for senior-related projects.
