Washington County residents can have their say about where their county tax dollars go as part of a special budget open house at 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 13 Immediately afterward, the Washington County Board of Commissioners will set a maximum levy for 2006. County Board Chair Myra Peterson called the Open House an opportunity for residents to make their voices heard at a time in the process when many important decisions about the budget are yet to be made. The open house and levy-setting meeting will take place in the Board Room of the Washington County Government Center, at 14949 N. 62nd St., Stillwater, near the intersection of TH-36 and Oxboro Avenue N.
