Chisago County Commissioner Ben Montzka of Wyoming will participate in an Association of Minnesota Counties panel entitled ìJOBZ: Intent vs. Reality.î The panel discussion will take place at the annual convention of the professional organization of county commissioners this December in St. Paul. ìJOBZ was intended to spur economic development opportunities within the state,î Montzka said. ìLike so many good intentions, when put into practice, the actual implementation doesnít always match the theory.î Montzka will discuss Chisago Countyís experience with two JOBZ developments, including the Polaris project in Wyoming.
