A number of human and animal celebrities are slated to join volunteers from Northwoods Humane Society for the seventh annual Walk With the Animals on Saturday, Sept. 17. The event will take place at Pinehaven Farm in Wyoming. Special guests on Sept. 17 will include Ramsey County K-9 Unit officer Lisa and her dog Phoenix, St. Paul Saints mascot Mudonna, McGruff the crime prevention dog, and guest announcer Katie Riopel of Katieís K-9 Professional Obedience School. Jeff Johnson of Blue Sky Animal Hospital, is the walk veterinarian. Walkers ó human and animals ó will collect pledges to help fund the animal rescue mission of the Forest Lake-based shelter.
