A fund-raising effort to help victims of Hurricane Katrina is being planned by the staff at Roxyís Total Image, 1031 S. Lake St. From Sept. 9-23, stylists and staff members at the shop will be paying a daily donation to the Katrina fund and will dress in blue jeans. A Wax-Athon is planned Thursday, Sept. 15. The shop will donate proceeds from any waxing services for women and men to the relief fund. Shop owner Roxy Miller said she hopes the drive will collect at least $200 for the relief effort. Donations for the hurricane relief fund will also be accepted.
