The funeral for Lino Lakes Police Officer Shawn Silvera, 32, has been scheduled for 3 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 12 at the Church of the Epiphany in Coon Rapids. A wake will also be held at Church of the Epiphany from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 11.
Officer Silvera, a Forest Lake resident, was killed in the line of duty on Tuesday after being struck by a vehicle driven by a suspect fleeing from police on I-35W in Lino Lakes.
