The Metro Transit is inviting residents of the Forest Lake area to be part of the ìCommuter Challengeî during April, May and June. With Mayors R.T. Rybak of Minneapolis and Chris Coleman of St. Paul, leading the effort, Metro Transit is using the three-month period to encourage residents from suburban communities to explore new forms of commuting. For those in the Forest Lake area, that could involve carpooling or van pooling. Those who take the challenge and enroll are eligible to win prizes. Results of the challenge will be released in July.
