Commuters who use I-35E take note. Area residents, commuters and businesses will have an opportunity to view construction plans, activities and staging for the ìUnweave the Weaveî project underway in the I-35E/I-694 Corridor. A public open house is scheduled from 3-7 p.m Thursday, April 27 at the Vadnais Heights City Hall, 800 East CR-E. Dubbed ìUnweave the Weave,î the project will rebuild the interchanges of I-35E and I-694 along with the two interstatesí common section in Little Canada and Vadnais Heights. Work on the project began in 2004 and will be completed by the fall of 2008, with final cleanup in the spring of 2009. Representatives from the Minnesota Department of Transportation will be available to answer questions about current and upcoming work on the project.
