The community is invited to attend the Forest Lake Area Partnership for Families Membership Meeting on Monday, April 24.

The event will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. at Fairview Lakes Regional Medical Center, 5200 Fairview Blvd, in Wyoming.

Communication skills are not just for advocates and advertisers everyone working with or for youth has a vital role to play in building public will.

The presentation and discussion will be on communicating effectively about adolescents and their needs.

The presenter is Glynis Shea, Communications Coordinator for the Konopka Institute at the U of M.

She works with researchers, youth workers, medical practitioners, social workers, educators and others to effectively communicate about and advocate for the health needs of adolescents.
