Washington County Administrator Jim Schug was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation by the Board of Commissioners for his 20 years of service to Washington County. The county board presented Schug with the recognition at the April 11 meeting. Schug joined the county in April, 1986 as its community social services director. He was named county administrator in April of 1994. Previous to his positions in Washington County, Schug worked in Redwood County and in Crow Wing County, where he began his public service career in 1974. He and his wife Connie have three grown daughters and live in Stillwater.
