Osterhus, Bailey take office in Linwood

New supervisors Philip Osterhus and Scott Bailey began work with other Linwood Town Board supervisors on Tuesday, March 28.
At that meeting a sketch plan presented by Don Johnson 22475 Typo Creek Drive NE was approved unanimously, 5-0. His land is part of what he termed was ìRick Hellerís place.î
Parts of the proposed plan include extending 225th Avenue west to intersect with Typo Creek Drive NE, making it a through street from West Martin Lake Road. Approval was at the recommendation of the townshipís planning and zoning commission.
A property line adjustment in Lyons Den plat was also approved. Fred Dewall is the developer.
Attorney Gerald Randall recommended approval on combining the newly created small parcel under the same pin number as the lot to which it is joined. The covenant prevents separate sale of the plots. The vote was unanimous.
The balance of the meeting was organizational. Reorganization, professional services, liaison responsibilities, and finalization of township fees were all tabled until the meeting on April 11.

In other business on March 28, supervisors:
ïReminded residents of the Pet Clinic scheduled Saturday, April 15 at the maintenance garage. Clinics are also planned for May 13 and June 3.
ïRecycling Day is scheduled for Saturday, April 22 at the north end of the Senior Center. Hours are from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
