Eleven candidates have been named to fill the vacant Forest Lake City Council seat. Forest Lake residents, former council members and committee chairs have all applied for the open position.

Tom Lynch, Bo Bogotty, Dick Damchik, Alan Bakke, Greg Ochs, Anne Gabriel, Dave Verness, Stev Stegner, Ray Daninger, Gregory Reiter and Ed Eigner will be interviewed for the available spot on April 17. The council will appoint the new council member at the completion of the interview process.

The new council member will serve the balance of the year with the position going on the ballot in November for the final two years that remain in Dick Tschidaís term.
