Cops in FL train to deal with 'shooters'

Approximately 25 Forest Lake, Wyoming and Pine County police officers participated in an "Active Shooter" training session at Century Junior High School on Wednesday, March 29. The training session curriculum, from the Washington County Sheriff's office, prepares the officers for the possibility of an active shooter in a public building. Sean Lafferty, the training session coordinator, said that having multiple officers from several different areas allows each department to be able to respond to any critical incident in the area.
